This was ok had me n the edge of my seat while reading it. Joe and Beverly were great characters and both unique in their own ways. Both strong and determined, both needing something the other could give. I loved that the plot was unique and hid a bit of mystery to it. Even though I enjoyed it, I felt very disappointed with the fact that there was no epilogue. The ending was deep, and beautiful but it felt to abrupt and left me wondering. These characters deserved a bigger look into their HEA. But even with that, it was an enjoyable fast paced read. 4 Stars #2OCCJD

From the title and cover, I thought this book had to be sci-fi. It totally wasn't. Haha. I really enjoyed these characters and story and devoured it in one sitting. Fun lovely read!
This was a sweet love story with a happy ending. As some other reviews have said I wish it was longer! But there was a little bit of everything, romance, humor, drama and a few tear jerking moments to complete a love conquers all story.
I had a hard time putting this book down. It was very well written. The main characters are very likable and draw you into their lives. Hope the author continues to write!!
Most of the books I read I want to throw across the room at least once, but I loved this one all the way though. I love when books have mute characters, I guess because I'm not much for talking myself. Some books when you read them play like a movie through your head, and you can really see them. This one was like that for me. Anytime someone asks me for a book suggestion from now on, I will point them here.
What an unusual and interesting book. The way Joe, who has PTSD and can't talk, and Beverly, who is severely allergic to light, meet and communicate is intriguing. There are unexpected developments in the story. Well written.
Well written book about two misfits (according to society) who find one another and bring out the best in each other. Joe has PTSD and is unable to speak from previous tragedy while a soldier. Bev is a former professional ballerina, locked away by her father trying to protect her so she won't have life threatening health issues by being out in the sunlight. Very good book. Would love to read more by this author
I read this book in one sitting and enjoyed it a lot. I loved the main characters. I wanted to read a Love Story and this was a good one. The ending was too abrupt for me - but it was a happy ending. An epilogue would have helped. I would have given it 5 stars except for something Nicole does in her books that I don't like. I won't spoil it for others by saying what this is. I did write Nicole to tell her. I think she is a wonderful writer, and I am so glad to have read this book. Quick and enjoyable read.
