A must own for any comic fan. This was a very sad issue, and manages to touch your heart without words. This is a picture only comic, and it's a first picture only comic for a lot of new fans out there. Now if you just started reading "Batman & Robin," or any Bat title. Or if you're just picking this up without knowing what's going on. Then it might not be that great.
(SPOILERS) Damian Wayne, who is Robin, who is the son of Bruce Wayne, who is Batman just got killed in "Batman Incorporated #8." This issue really captures Batman's heart ache as he drives around Gotham empty. It really captures his pain and you could feel it yourself as you go through the pages and look at the pictures. One more thing, have some tissues handy.
Not to rain on anyones parade, and maybe I got a different issue - but this has like 10 pictures, with 30 ads. I was expecting an actual comic not a 10 page magazine. I think this should be clarified, as I was also expecting a stand alone comic, my fault in that respect. I would not buy, very unsatisfied.
This is a great story, the new 52 arcs highlight the characters underlying personalities and faults. You will not be disappointed.
Great art work. I have not read the comic because it is a collectors item.
